Every book here earned its place. That means a shop you can browse end to end in an afternoon and still leave with three things you did not know you needed.
You will not find a wall of identical spines, a bestseller pyramid, or an algorithm's guess at your taste. Just a small, deliberate collection and someone willing to argue about it.
and so the shop was opened, and the bestseller display withered away, never to be seen again.
